What Size Screen Should I Get?

What display option will best suit my needs?

The suitability of a display screen size is very much a personal choice and dependent on applications frequently used. If you are contemplating buying a laptop computer you will find yourself limited to a screen size ranging from 10.1” to 18.4” for the obvious reason of portability.

Whilst screen resolution can be set to adjust character size to suit your needs, you may find yourself using the screen scroll facility more often than you wish, especially if you activity includes development of presentations, photo editing, large spreadsheets.

For a PC option however, available display screens currently range in size from 18.5” to 27”. If your vision is impaired and you find that even a 27” results in difficulties and strain, the use of a larger LCD screen of a High Definition TV set may solve the issue for you.
